To help attend to your puppy's needs throughout the critical first months of his/her life, Paws of the Rockies offers a "wellness" program that covers all necessary vaccinations for one low fee. These health care services are typically performed for your puppy every three to four weeks up to 18-20 weeks of age.

Services Include

• 3 Comprehensive physical examinations ($136)

• 3 DHPP vaccines ($60)

• 2 Leptospirosis vaccines ($38)

• 1 Bordetella vaccine ($19)

• 1 Rabies vaccine and tag ($22)

• 2 Fecal examinations ($78)

• 2 Dewormings ($28)

• First dose of heartworm prevention ($7.54)

• AKC Microchip implant* ($60 + peace of mind)

The preferred vaccination schedule for most puppies is listed below:

• 8 weeks: Exam, DHPP, fecal test, deworming treatment, first heartworm preventative

• 12 weeks: Exam, DHPP, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, deworming treatment

• 16 weeks: Exam, DHPP, Leptospirosis, Rabies vaccine and tag, fecal test, *microchip placement

*The microchip implant can be done at any visit. The implant requires a large needle and is best placed when the patient is still. If your pet is going to be spayed or neutered, we recommend placing the microchip when your pet is under anesthesia.

Kitten Wellness Care Plan

These health care services are typically performed for your kitten every four weeks up to 16 - 18 weeks of age.

• 1 Rabies vaccine and tag ($22)

• 1 FELV/FIV test ($49)

• 2 Fecal examinations ($78)

• 1 topical deworming ($25.54)

• AKC Microchip implant* ($60 + peace of mind)

8 weeks: Exam, FVRCP, fecal test

12 weeks: Exam, FVRCP, Profender, FELV/FIV test
